互联网搜索巨头Google近日表示，网站的访问速度也将成为计算其Google搜索排名的标准之一。Google的官方博客表示，Google在计算网站速度时，会整合各种资料来计算这个网站相对于其它网站的速度。
速度更快的网站可以令用户感到高兴，而如果网站响应速度过慢，用户访问该网站的时间也会减少。网站速度的提升不仅可以改善用户体验。最近的数据显示，网站速度的提升还能降低运营成本。就像谷歌一样，谷歌用户非常重视网页速度，这也是我们决定将网站速度纳入搜索排名的原因之一。
这是Google在网站速度上的又一个举措。 Google在站长工具（Webmaster Tools）里也发布了一个网站测速工具帮助站长们统计自己的网站运行情况。谷歌搜索质量部门主管Matt Cutts表示：“提高网页加载速度非常重要，不仅仅对于网站所有者，对于所有互联网用户也是一样。

不过在计算搜索排名时，“速度”这一标准的比重远小于页面内容相关度等其它主要因素。 Google表示，目前只有不到1%的搜索查询受到这次算法调整的影响，并且目前的影响范围也仅限于在Google.com上的英文搜索。
至于什么时候会影响到Google.com.hk还是未知之数。不过希望自己的网站排名靠在前头的站长们，现在就该行动起来给网站提速了。
