Dave Shea is a graphic designer and the creator and cultivator of the CSS Zen Garden, which has won awards including “Best of Show” at the South by South-west Interactive conference in Austin, TX. He has spoken at industry conferences worldwide, and his work has been featured in books and magazines around the globe.
He’s also a member of the Web Standards Project (WaSP), a group of dedicated Web developers and designers who promote Web design based on cross-platform, non-proprietary technologies. Dave is the owner and director of Bright Creative, a Vancouver-based Web design agency, and he writes about all things Web for his online publication, mezzoblue.com. When he’s not in front of a computer screen, you can usually find Dave at the local Vancouver farmer’s markets or independent coffee roasters.
